SmartOffice integrates with Docupace to help you open new accounts and access client files.

Opening a new account

  1. Search for the client record and open it (if you forgot how, see the Search lesson).
  2. Click the Menu button.
  3. Select Integrations, and then select Docupace ePACS Connect. ePACS opens in a new window.
  4. Click one of the New Account options.

When you go through the new-account forms, you will find that SmartOffice has automatically filled in some of the form fields.

Accessing client files

  1. Search for the client record and open it (if you forgot how, see the Search lesson).
  2. Click the Menu button.
  3. Select Integrations, and then select Docupace Client Folder. The Docupace Setup window opens.
  4. Type your Docupace ID and Docupace URL.
  5. Select the Skip this screen and use the above Docupace URL by default and Do not create subfolders for investment accounts and policies option options.
  6. Click Login to open the client folder.

If the client does not already exist in Docupace, SmartOffice automatically creates a record for the client and maps in all of the relevant data from SmartOffice.
